Build an ARPG
Team; Game design, programming, art & sound
Project time; 3 weeks
Engine; Unity
After a democratic vote we decided to go for an ARPG that’s not super violent. We let our hero be a sloth living in the amazonas, that couldn’t sleep because of all the hamsters, disturbing her beauty sleep. Enough is enough.
We were a game design team of two designers on this project. My roles in the project was:
I am kind of an over-creative person who is in constant development and with a belief that everything can always be better while my co-designer in this project was quite the opposite – so we completed each other well with me gently pushing, and she gently pulling.
We tried to be involved in each other’s work and help each other out. We did a couple of levels each but in the end we only had time to execute two of them. I tried to work with the narrative that changed a bit during the project time. Also did character design and some game mechanics.
This game turned out quite cute. It has some flaws (I admit; a lot) but still; I’m proud.

The song “Vi var trouble” (We were trouble) is a nostalgic trip back to the nighties and a mixture of Anjas and my own troublesome memories. It’s an ambitious zero budget production.
